Noto Serif Font

In this post, we present a very classic typeface that is known by the name Noto Serif Font. This tremendous typeface belongs to the serif family. The original developer of this family was Steve Matteson. And the Type Director of Ascender Corporation took care of its commercial release.

This awesome font has a great story behind its creation. In 2010, Google started a project with the aim to develop a typeface that can support all the world’s languages. For different outstanding uses, its closest albertus font is available with the same features.¬† And Noto Serif Font is the result of that project. Since its inception, this font family has been supporting more than 800 languages.

Each letter of this font has been designed very carefully so that every character is visible no matter what the background color is. This design consideration makes it an ideal choice for body text. It comes in two styles- regular and italic. Both these styles have 4 weights- light, bold, italic, and black.
