NFL Font is the font used for the National Football League (NFL). It was designed by william boyd. The font is used on game jerseys, logos, and other branding materials. The Font has been used on every NFL jersey since its inception in 1994.
The font is a custom design specifically for the NFL, and it is not available for public purchase. NFL Properties holds the copyright to the Typeface, and it is only licensed to companies that are official NFL licensees. The Font is based on the Futura typeface, which was designed in 1927 by German typographer Paul Renner. While this font is not available for purchase, several commercial fonts are similar to it, such as Champion Gothic and Proforma.
