Khula Font
Khula Font is a sans-serif typeface designed by Indian Type Foundry. The design is based on the Devanagari script and was inspired by the hand-lettered signs of Mumbai. The name khula means “open” in Hindi, and the typeface was designed to be highly readable in small sizes. This font was released in 2012 and has since been used by a number of publications, including The Hindu, Mint, and India Today.
It is available in seven weights, from Light to Bold, with corresponding italics. This font has won several awards, including Best Typeface Design at the 2013 Indian Design Mark Awards. This typeface and high tide font have many matching personalities and the same characteristics because of their same height and large characters.
